A Walkathon was conducted on World Diabetes Day on 14^th November 2017 at KGMU, Lucknow organized by Department of Medicine in association with UP Chapter of Association of Physicians of India. The Walkathon was flagged off by Prof. M.L.B. Bhatt, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, KGMU, Lucknow and led by Dr. Virendra Atam, Chairman, UP API. The Walkathon started from Administrative block, KGMU to Central Library, KGMU, Lucknow and includes Medical students, Faculty, Residents, Paramedical staff and General Public.

We also thank UP-RSSDI and UPDACON for supporting us in this endeavor . Even in this cold weather, more than 200 person participated in this Walkathon.
